What estate agent photographs don’t show you

Property photographs are designed to attract attention. They show the best rooms, angles and light—but they rarely tell you how the property feels in everyday life.

Fresh paint may hide damp staining. Wide-angle photographs can make rooms appear larger. A quiet viewing may not reveal traffic, neighbours or nearby construction at another time of day.

Photographs also cannot show you:

  • Water pressure and drainage.
  • The condition of electrics and the fuse board
  • Roof, terrace or waterproofing problems
  • Difficult access, parking or steep approaches
  • Noise, smells, humidity and ventilation
  • Poor workmanship from previous renovations
  • The true condition of pools and outside areas
  • No AI enhanced imagery, just photos true at the time.

This does not always mean somebody is deliberately hiding a problem. It simply means a property listing cannot provide the full picture.

True Casa looks beyond the presentation and records what a buyer actually needs to know—with clear evidence, practical observations and no pressure to complete the sale.
